Oil & Gas Applications
Photovoltaic power systems are well-suited to operating automation equipment used by the oil and gas industry. This equipment includes high-efficiency gas-flow computers, remote telemetry units (RTU's) and supervisory control and data acquisition equipment (SCADA). The equipment's low power requirements and typically remote siting often make a PV system the most cost-effective power source. Custom systems have been designed and manufactured to OEM or end-user specifications. Manufactured in volume to serve multiple-site projects, solar electric power systems provide consistently high quality at the lowest possible cost.

Traffic Applications
Kyocera is the leading supplier of solar-powered flashing beacon systems and equipment for traffic safety applications. Our traffic signal systems range from school zone flashers and speed awareness displays to 24-hour flashers and changeable message displays.
Kyocera can provide a standard "off the shelf" system or a custom designed package to meet your application. High-efficiency LED beacons allow KSI to minimize solar system size and cost while maximizing system performance and lifetime. KSI's systems are designed conservatively to ensure years of trouble-free service. Standard system selection is determined by the amount of time you need the beacon to operate vs. the location of installation.
Kyocera also provides remote-control and paging equipment to control flashing systems from a central office or computer network, with custom design and field engineering services available to support our nationwide dealer network.
Applications:
- 24-Hour Flashing Beacon Systems
- School Zone Flashing Beacon Systems with Programmable Time Control
- Speed Awareness Displays
- Firehouse Entrance / Exit Warning Beacons
- Intersection / Crosswalk Warning
- Work Zones
- Sharp Curve Warning
- Factory/Plant/Facility Entrance Warning
Features:
- Low-Cost Installation -- Easily and Quickly Deployed in Any Location

SunPak
Kyocera's SunPak is a high quality, self-contained solar power system designed to provide continuous, reliable power in remote locations where electric power is unreliable, unavailable, or expensive. SunPak systems utilize high-efficiency solar electric modules to charge long-life, deep-cycled batteries. The batteries then provide steady, reliable power to the load, with sufficient storage capacity to operate at night and during extended periods of cloudy weather. The enclosure and array structure is fabricated from heavy-gauge materials for long life and superior corrosion resistance. SunPak generators integrate the highest quality components.
CellPak
CellPak is a complete solar electric power system for telecommunications equipment, offering the lowest-cost power alternative when utility power is unavailable or unreliable. CellPak systems offer power to cellular repeater sites, small cell sites, satellite downlinks, microwave repeaters, and other telecom applications. CellPak systems are available in two easy-to-install versions: the adjustable base model and container-mount model.
